One of St. Louis’s hottest former restaurants — The Kitchen Sink — is making its return to Crafted for one day only on October 5, 2019.

The beloved and much-missed Downtown and Central West End restaurant closed its doors in the Summer of 2017. Since then, announced returns of the popular Cajun and Creole restaurant have surfaced and also fizzled out. The Kitchen Sink was a three-time member of the STL 100 list of top restaurants.

Now Kitchen Sink owner and head chef, Anthony Ellison, Jr., is back in the kitchen — specifically, the kitchen at Crafted. Ellison has found a temporary home at Crafted, and with that a chance to bring a taste of some of his customers’ favorite dishes back to hungry diners in St. Louis for one day only.

The Kitchen Sink pop up will be offering brunch favorites from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner beginning at 4 p.m. and continuing until closing at midnight.

Brunch items will include Shrimp & Grits, Chicken & Waffles, Crab Cake Beanie and many other favorites from the Kitchen Sink. At dinner, entrees include Humble Pie, Jambalaya, and Seafood Gumbo. Burgers, sandwiches, appetizers and salads from The Kitchen Sink are also on the menu.
