TechArtista, a pioneering coworking space in the Central West End, will be celebrating 5 years of business this May and invites their members, friends, community and the city to celebrate with them on Friday, May 10 from 7 pm to 11 pm at 4818 Washington Blvd. This event is free and open to all.
TechArtista’s 5 Year Anniversary Party will be an event folks won’t want to miss. Attendees will enjoy 4 Hands Brewing Co. Beers and 1220 Spirits canned cocktails, food by Thai202, a performance by Mvstermind and FarFetched artists on the rooftop patio, and sweet treats from Prioritized Pasteries. Attendees can expect to meet like-minded people and network if they please, snap Instax photos to take home their memories, and color Edo Rosenblith x 4 Hands coloring pages in the board room. Attendees are able to win attendance prizes by RSVPing via Eventbrite and checking in when they arrive. Prizes Include: ‘Pink’ by Edo Rosenblith, an Edo Rosenblith x 4 Hands T-Shirt, Blueprint Coffee, Big Heart Tea, Core + Rind vegan cheese sauce, and a 3-Month Drop-In Membership at TechArtista.
TechArtista will be revealing their newly painted pyramid murals done by Edo Rosenblith, sponsored by 4 Hands as part of their annual City Wide Pilsner Innovation Scholarship. Since the beginning of TechArtista, their iconic pyramids in the heart of the building have been a visual attraction for members and the community. The pyramids were originally built by the Puckett Group in 1991 to conceal ductwork and commissioned in 2014 to Screwed Arts Collective for TechArtista’s first permanent mural.
‘BORDERLANDS’ by Josh Rowan, TechArtista’s current art exhibit featuring photos depicting the Mexican-American border, will also be up during the Anniversary Party. Rowan traveled the length of the Mexican-American border from the Gulf to the Pacific Coast, where he stayed as close to the border as possible, taking photos, meeting people, sharing stories and experiencing life in the borderlands. ‘BORDERLANDS’ will be on view at TechArtista until May 18th.

TechArtistsa’s membership program grants access to space resources in four different tiers–drop-in, dedicated desks, and private offices. Combining commercial office and event space with unique retail, food and beverage programs, they provide members of our community with programs to meet their professional and social needs.
