The St. Louis Surge will celebrate their 100th game in program history and their first game in the Global Women’s Basketball Association (GWBA) against Flint Monarchs in their 2019 home opener on Saturday, June 8, at 6:05 p.m. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. at Washington University Field House Athletic Complex, 330 North Big Bend Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63130.

The St. Louis Surge is a professional women’s basketball team located in St. Louis, Missouri. Formally a part of the Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League (WBCBL) as 2-time National Champions, The Surge will face new competition this season entering the Global Women’s Basketball Association (GWBA). Along with a new league, the Surge will be welcoming a new head coach, Duez Henderson and several new professional players to the roster. Their 2019 season home opener will mark the 100th game in program history powered by Ameren and will be dedicated to Power House Women!
The Surge is scheduled to play eight regular season games, which consists of five home games on the following dates:

  • June 8 – 6:05 PM, Home Opener
  • June 15 – 3:05 PM, Power Up Pink Cancer Awareness
  • June 29 – 3:05 PM, St. Louis Team Spirit (wear your favorite sports team apparel)
  • June 30 – 3:05 PM, Ballin’ for the Brave (honors military veterans)
  • July 13 – 6:05 PM, #SurgeNation Appreciation (Surge fan appreciation night)
