Ballpark Village is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of Shark Bar, downtown’s new home of the endless summer, on Friday, March 29th. The public is invited to attend the Grand Opening celebration starting at 8:00 p.m. Entertainment throughout the night includes a DJ playing the best retro dance music, giveaways, appearances from mascot “Finn,” and a midnight beach ball drop for cash and prizes.
Shark Bar will offer an ideal hang out for happy hour, Cardinal game days, and a night out with friends in a fun, retro-surf atmosphere. The venue will serve up classic beach cocktails, from frosty cool rum runners and pina coladas, to Shark Bar’s signature beach pail punch and exquisite craft cocktails like “Tiki Time” made with rum, mandarin and banana liqueur, cold brew coffee, coconut puree and pineapple.
Shark Bar joins PBR St. Louis, The Barn at PBR, The Skybox at FOX Sports Midwest Live!, the Crown Room at Budweiser Brew House, and the Hall of Fame Club at Cardinals Nation in offering a dynamic lineup of entertainment anchors on Ballpark Village’s second level.
A $260 million expansion of Ballpark Village is currently under construction. The 700,000 square foot second phase will complete a full build out of Clark Street, transforming Ballpark Village into a vibrant 24/7 urban neighborhood for downtown St. Louis. The second phase will feature a 29-story luxury residential tower, One Cardinal Way, the first Class A Office building in over a generation, anchored by PricewaterhouseCoopers, a $65 million luxury Live! by Loews hotel and a three-story retail pavilion anchored by Onelife Fitness.
Shark Bar is currently seeking applicants for a variety of positions. To apply, visit Ballpark Village at 601 Clark Ave. adjacent to Busch Stadium Monday-Friday from 11am-2pm, or apply online at bit.ly/SharkBarSTLCareers.
