Saddle up to the bar on Friday, May 4th as Ruth’s Chris’ in Clayton opens their patio for the season. The iconic steakhouse will be hosting a Kentucky Derby Kickoff Party. The event will benefit Tree House of Greater St. Louis (formerly known as Therapeutic Horsemanship). Tree House’s mission is to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families through therapy, recreation, education and exploration.

Patio gates open at 4 p.m. with Ralph Butler Band sounding the trumpet thirty minutes past the hour to announce it’s off to the races with a live performance. Also on-hand for photo opportunities will be a charming palomino known as Angel, one of Tree House’s horses.

Complimentary appetizers will be available and sales from the signature Tree House bourbon slush will benefit Tree House of Greater St. Louis. The event concludes at 7 p.m. but guests are welcomed to continue to stay and enjoy Ruth’s Chris famous cocktails and food through the remainder of the evening.
