Memorial Day Flood Relief Benefit Concert Took Place Prior to Cardinals vs. Dodgers game
ST. LOUIS – New Country 92.3 raised more than $18,000 for Salvation Army Flood Relief, to benefit Missourians still recovering from the Spring 2017 floods that took place across the state.
With these funds raised, The Salvation Army provides everything from meals for first responders, to furniture for those recovering from the devastating floods earlier this year.
Missouri’s Trent Tomlinson and Illinois’ Drew Baldridge played before the Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers game at Busch Stadium on Memorial Day. Special $9.23 tickets were sold to the game and PRE-GAME concert. The St. Louis Cardinals organization matched the total from the first 1,000 tickets sold.
Bud and Broadway – the only live and local New Country Morning Show in the St. Louis bi-state area – were joined by Missourian Tyler Farr for the game’s first pitch! (NOTE: photos from yesterday’s benefit concert are attached)
Program Director Scott Roddy commented about the Flood Relief Benefit Concert, noting, “New Country 92.3 is proud and honored to have partnered with the legendary St. Louis Cardinals for such an important cause. We appreciate the support we received from the New Country and baseball fans in St. Louis.”
