The first annual Cherokee Caravan Antiques and Art Bazaar will take place on Historic Cherokee Antique Row. The Bazaar will host over 100 local and out of town antiques dealers, vintage purveyors, artists, and makers. Vendors will line the streets of Cherokee between Jefferson Ave. and Lemp Ave. and provide choice antiques and artifacts, vintage goods, art, and handmade wares for purchase. Peppered in between antique vendors will be local food and beverage trucks as well as Entertainment for the whole family.

Once held by The Saint Louis Symphony, The Gypsy Caravan, has delighted families, pickers and purveyors for 45 years. Although the Caravan had changed it’s location several times, the popular event was just as successful no matter where it took place. After receiving word that the time honored The Gypsy Caravan was no longer going to take place here in St. Louis, the merchants of Cherokee Street, could not let this 45 year tradition die. After getting official consent and support to take the reigns, the merchants of Cherokee decided to carry the long-standing antique peddling ritual to a new level of existence by bringing the festivities to the landmark shopping district, Cherokee Antique Row. Although the St. Louis Symphony has no affiliation with the Cherokee Caravan, many of it’s members were excited that Cherokee Street could carry on the tradition of the historic Memorial Day event. Expanding on the well-known brand of, The Gypsy Caravan, the event will be renamed as, THE CHEROKEE CARAVAN ANTIQUES AND ART BAZAAR.

Merchants will hopefully relish in new a wave of patrons and residents will take part in the festivities steps outside their door. Attendees will enjoy a day full of shopping, entertainment, food and drinks. Music on the Main Stage at Cherokee and Missouri by Sarah Jane and the Blue Notes, as well as TJ Mueller and Band.
