May’s Place, St. Louis vintage boutique, is set to host their third Night Market this year at The Ready Room in The Grove on Friday, September 21, from 6 to 11PM. May’s Night Market boasts a unique opportunity to shop from some of the best vintage, handmade and locally produced items St. Louis has to offer. From vintage clothing and home goods, to handmade jewelry, skincare products, pottery, and more–all can be found under one roof at the Night Market. The September Night Market will feature special guests Good Fortune, serving up fried rice. This event is free to attend and open to all.
A variety of vendors curated by Katie May, Co-Owner of May’s Place, will be brought together for an exciting evening of shopping and socializing at the September installment of May’s Night Market. Attendees will be able to shop from May’s Place, Good Fortune, Mesa Home, YellowTree Clay, Dethrose Vintage (Chicago), Hello Juice & Smoothie, The Rusty Bolt, Expedition Subsahara, Vintage for Josephine (Kansas City), Top Coat Sign Co, Mahnal, Lark Skin Co, Bohemian Babies, Black Arrow Exchange and more.
“We have a really fresh line-up for this Market–lots of new faces! I’m super excited about hosting Dethrose Vintage from Chicago and Vintage for Josephine from Kansas City . Both have a keen eye for beautiful, quality vintage with totally different aesthetics,” comments Katie May of May’s Place and Market Coordinator.
Good Fortune will be serving up a variety of their signature Fortune Fried Rice. Newly opened Hello Juice & Smoothie will be serving açaí smoothie bowls. And, Top Coat Sign Co. will be hand painting signs and decor on-site.
Event attendees will be able to sign up for a chance to win a gift basket full of items from the featured Night Market vendors at the event entrance. Winners will be notified via phone and/or email.
The Ready Room will be serving drinks and local brews for purchase throughout the night and will be featuring two specials: $4 4 Hands Draft Pints and The “Mayflower” Specialty Cocktail, consisting of 1220 Gin, elderflower syrup, 1220 tonic, lemon garnish for $7. Parlor will be hosting the Night Market After Party, where event attendees can show their Night Market wristbands for $4 drafts and $5.50 Parlor Cups.
May’s will be hosting a Holiday Night Market on December 7, perfect for the 2018 holiday season.
Located at the corner of Bradley & Ivanhoe Ave, in the South St. Louis neighborhood of Lindenwood Park, May’s Place offers a unique variety of vintage, antiques and locally made goods.
