Eric Rhone of Visions Management Group, Inc. is the Founder of the “Journals for Juniors” program which was started in 2015. The program teaches high school juniors about local businesses thru a curriculum using the St. Louis Business Journal as their teaching tool.  By providing an up-close and introspective look into local business leaders, in order to develop a long-lasting relationship with the students and companies, the goal is to educate through exposure and experience.

The Gateway STEM high school currently has a classroom of 23 students participating in the program this semester.  Today, these students got an opportunity to tour Harris Stowe State University, listen to a special presentation by several area business representatives, conduct speed interviewing sessions to practice for real-world job interviews, and enjoy lunch at the college.

This year, Visions Management Group, Inc. has also partnered with Wells Fargo to take on all financial responsibilities associated with the Journals for Juniors Program.  To learn more or to nominate your high school to participate in future programs, call St Louis Public Schools at 314-231-3720.
