In the wake of historic Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, the employees of 23 City Blocks Hospitality Group announced today the team will be hosting a “spiked lemonade stand” on Sunday, Sept. 17, from noon to 3 p.m. at Handcrafted by Bissinger’s in the Central West End to help raise money to support relief efforts in Texas and Florida.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who is being affected by Hurricane Harvey and Irma,” said Vice President Amanda Bradham-Little. “The employees at 23 City Blocks Hospitality Group feel it’s their community responsibility to do something to make an impact and give back. Here in the middle of the Midwest, it’s hard to fathom the devastation of the recent hurricanes. The desperate need of aid, medicine and basic supplies have us feeling as helpless as a kid so we are going back to our childhood ways and setting up shoppe with a ‘Spiked Lemonade Stand.’”

With partners Pearl Vodka and Rebel Yell Bourbon, employees will be outside Handcrafted by Bissinger’s selling two handcrafted flavors of lemonade: Pearl Vodka Blueberry Lemonade and Rebel Yell Bourbonade. A non-alcoholic lemonade will also be available. Each glass will be $5 and 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund.

In addition, 23 City Blocks’ sister company, Bissinger’s Handcrafted Chocolatier has donated Lemon Meringue Fresh Cream Truffles to be sold for 100 percent donation.

Handcrafted by Bissinger’s is located at 32 Maryland Plaza, St. Louis, MO 63108.
