Andrea Moon joins Craft Alliance following her most recent role as Deputy Director of The Pottery Workshop in Jingdezhen, China. An accomplished artist with an MFA in Ceramics and Sculpture and a Bachelor of Arts in 3-Dimensional Studies, Moon is also a past Artist-In-Residence at both Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and Red Lodge Clay Center. She is also an experienced arts educator, taking on the role of Residency and Communications Coordinator at Red Lodge upon concluding her residency.

Mark Witzling, Executive Director, notes “Andy will bring her passion for craft and experience in arts education to our team, building upon our long tradition and commitment to educating the entire community about the importance and value of craft.”

Moon joins the organization to lead Craft Alliance’s education programs as artist and educator Luanne Rimel retires following a 16-year tenure.

Class registration for Winter/Spring 2019 begins December 11, 2018.
