Gamlin Restaurant Group is celebrating three anniversaries this month with an all-day bar crawl through the Central West End on Sunday, Sept. 23. The restaurant group, which includes local hotspots Sub Zero Vodka Bar, Gamlin Whiskey House and 1764 Public House, has been a fixture in the neighborhood since 2004, when brothers Derek and Lucas Gamlin opened Sub Zero Vodka Bar. In the 14 years since, the Gamlins have opened Gamlin Whiskey House (2013) and 1764 Public House (2017).
“We’ve had great opportunities to grow with the neighborhood, and to bring a variety of unique drinking and dining experiences to the Central West End,” Gamlin Restaurant Group Proprietor Derek Gamlin says. “We look forward to our anniversary parties every year because it gives us a fun way to mark these milestones with the guests and community who support us every day, year after year.”
The Sept. 23 bar crawl will feature a variety of fun activities, including: A family-friendly brunch starting at 9 a.m. at 1764 Public House, with Dancakes, Louie of the St. Louis Blues and jazz music. A bubbles brunch starting at 10 a.m. at Gamlin Whiskey House, featuring bottomless champagne and mimosas and live music from 2-5 p.m. A DJ and vodka ice sculpture at Sub Zero Vodka Bar starting at 5 p.m. Guests who check in at all three locations will receive a free commemorative T-shirt celebrating some of Gamlin Restaurant Group’s favorite local foods.
Each restaurant also hosted a week of customer appreciation days, featuring drink specials and giveaways from popular spirits brands: Sub Zero Vodka Bar (Sept. 3-6), Gamlin Whiskey House (Sept. 10-14) and 1764 Public House (Sept. 17-20). Gamlin Restaurant Group’s anniversary celebration is sponsored by Jim Beam Black, Rebel Yell, Glenmorangie, Wild Turkey, Pearl, EFFEN, SKYY, Belvedere, El Mayor, Cruzan, Aperol and Chandon. All events are free and open to the public.
