101 ESPN announced the launch of the new midday show, “Stalter and Rivers” featuring 101 ESPN’s Anthony Stalter and former St. Louis Blue and current Fox Sports Midwest Blues Pre and Postgame Show host, Jamie Rivers. The new show will air Monday, Sept. 9.

“We are going to cover it all! Blues, Cardinals, big topics, NFL Football, Mizzou, college football, and we have XFL and MLS coming to town. We’ll talk about,” said Anthony Stalter.  “We will cover national stories and relate them locally. It’ll be entertaining and knowledgeable with the feel of two guys at the end of the bar talking sports and having everyone join us! “

“Thank you to John Kijowski, Hoss Neupert, Tommy Mattern, and Hubbard for believing in us and giving us this incredible opportunity,” Stalter added.

“This has been a bit of whirlwind! Joining the crew in the spring, and getting to know everyone here at 101 ESPN has been amazing. It is one big happy family, and it’s like teammates that I had when I was a player. That environment was key to me joining. Stalter is amazing, and the relationship and chemistry have developed quickly. I love the guy already. It can only get better,” stated Jamie Rivers.

Anthony Stalter joined 101 ESPN in 2012 as a producer for the past six years hosted “The Turn” on 101 ESPN weekdays from 1p-3p. He authors columns on 101 ESPN.com and hosts Football Frenzy on Sunday on ESPN Radio during football season.

Jamie Rivers is a former Blues defenseman and the current host of the live Blues Pre and Postgame shows on FOX Sports Midwest.

“Hubbard Radio St. Louis and 101 ESPN are excited to launch another LIVE AND LOCAL show featuring two incredibly-talented guys, who are connected and engaged with listeners and sports fans across St. Louis. We are very proud to add the show to the lineup and grateful that they said “yes,” stated Hubbard Radio St. Louis Vice President, Market Manager – John Kijowski.
